Original period manufacture. Standard pattern M1917 knife made by L.F.& C. and dated 1917. This example has a 9 inch blade length, is fairly straight, with light wear to the surface, and the tip is slightly bluntedThe guard and knuckle bow retain most of the original finish, nice original finish wooden grip. Simple leather scabbard with belt loop. These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
