Original period manufacture. Standard pattern M1917 knife made by L.F.& C. and dated 1917.This example has seen considerable wear, the blade retains its 9 inch length, is fairly straight, with wear to the surface along its length.Wear to the guard finish, the wood grip has a repaired crack running its length...maybe this knife actually saw service use.These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
