Original period manufacture. A complete examplewith littleof its original factory finish remaining. All metal surfaces have been cleaned of surface corrosion, with scattered staining and steel patina finish. Nine inch triangular shaped blade with a very sharp tip,steel guard with 8 pyramid shaped protrusions on the knuckle bow. Original finish wood grip showing some minor scratching, green painted leather bodied scabbard with matching patina to the throat and tip, one of the brass rivets is missing from the chape.The knife is complete however, and clearly marked L.F.&C on the guard.
