Original period manufacture. A complete example with most of the original blue finish remaining on the 9-inch blade. Very minor surface corrosion on the guard, most of the original finish is intact. Sound original green painted leather scabbard marked Jewell 1918, showing minor scuffing to the surface. No cracks or chips in the original finish grip. One of the attaching prongs on the belt hooks is slightly bent.
