Original era manufacture. A sound old leather holster with an embossed US on its body, marked on the reverse of the belt loop, G&K, 1918 A.G.The leather is pliable, and the body is not crushed or flattenend. Honest wear and use, with an intact muzzle plug and brass leg tie loop. At some point in the past an alternative mounting system was installed on the reverse of the belt loop. This has been removed some time ago however the holes remain, perhaps an attempt to install the M1910 belt hook to wear on the narrow pistol belt? Who knows, still a decent old holster.
