Original era manufacture. Classic WWI Trench Knife brass grip with the LF&C name on one side of the brass grip. The blade displays a mix of blue and steel patina, with some light corrosion staining. One side of the guard has been ground down so as to fit flush with the body. We have had a number of similarly modified knives in the past, with the modification being done in WWII. Three small notches carved into the butt of the grip. Original blue finish, LF&C 1918 marked sheath which has been rather crudely modified to fit on a belt.  These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
