Original era manufacture. Apair of hooded stirrups for the M1904 McClelland saddle, with the right side stirrup having the special socket for the Guidon pole.Dark brown leather coverings over wooden stirrup bodies, with an embossed US in an oval on the front of each stirrup cover. The securing rivets are sound, and the left side wooden stirrup is also intact. The right side wooden stirrup (Guidon Side) has a crack in the edge of the wood about an inch wide and about six inches long. Also, one of the lower, small leather securing tabs that hold the Guidon in place is broken on one side.In spite of the issues describe, the stirrups remain very sound for display. I cannot remember the last time we offered a real pair of Guidon stirrups for sale.
