Original era manufacture. Sound khaki canvas cover with a very clear US stencil on it's front, R.I.A. 1918 marked under the left securing flap, with stenciled unit markings on its reverse. Aluminum bodied  canteen maker marked L.F.&C 1918 on the reverse, aluminum cup maker marked A.G.M.CO 1918. Sound and pliable brown leather suspension strap with a darkened bronze snap hook. Nice canteen.
