Original era manufacture. Named and numbered, 20211, partial wrap brooch Purple Heart in nice condition. No issues to report other than normal age and handling. A photo copy of the Awards Record Card showing the same soldiers name and close match to the edge number (they never match exactly I believe)and giving the information that he served with Company A, 310 MG company (79th Division) and was wounded in action on the 5th of November 1918. The 79th Division arrived in France in July of 1918, fought in the Meuse-Argonne Offensive and suffered the loss of nearly 7,000 killed and wounded.
