Original period manufacture. An issue quality hat of dark blue wool with a gold embroidered cap tally, US NAVAL AIR STATION, now showing a dark toned patina. The liner is of tiny blue/white cotton checks with a brown leather sweatband. There are a few small moth bites, but being of dark blue wool material they are not readily visible. Small size.
