Original era manufacture. An interesting grouping of a soldier who served with Company F, 309th Regiment (78th Division) during WWI. The lot consists of two American Legion Medals, one from the National Convention in Miami in 1941, the other displaying a Lyre and crossed horns, and is sterling marked. A New Jersey WWI Victory Medal, 3 place ribbon bar, 309th collar disc, lapel button for a Purple Heart, and the most interesting, two small Purple Heart membership buttons. One is marked, Sons of the Purple Heart, the other an enameled miniature of the medal itself.
