Original era manufacture. Early M1910 pattern campaign hat in a size 7, wide leather sweatband and an original Army pattern officers capcord with leather chinstrap. Affixed to the front grommet hole is a WWII era, enlisted USMC EGA device which appears to have been there since Napoleon was a Corporal (that's a long time ago). Perhaps placed there by a former Marine for wear, who knows. At any rate, it's a nice hat. Faint owners name written on the sweatband.
