Original era manufacture. Philadelphia Quartermaster Depot marked, issue quality tunic of olive wool. Officers braid on each cuff, full complement of darkened eagle buttons present. On each side of the collar are officer pattern darkened metal insignia, crossed rifles with a number 1, and the letters WIS. On the upper left pocket flap is a darkened bronze Wisconsin Marksmanship badge. The coat is about a size 36, clean, showing some scattered mothing, most of which is located on the left elbow, and left rear of the coat body.
