Original era manufacture.Standard 1910 pattern aluminum messkit made by L.F.&C. in 1918. Wonderfully hand decorated on the lid and body, with a pair of scissors (Cutting Up In France) and the profile of a pretty girl. Named to a William Quirk of Schenectady NY. Inside are two printed pages giving details of Private Quirk's service in WWI. Overall quite clean with minor wear and use.
