Original era manufacture. Classic picture frame of the WWI era. We believe these were made by the Grey Iron Toy Company during the time. They can be found in a variety of styles for the different branches of service.This example is one of the more generic featuring crossed swords in the side margins, American flags and a drum at the top, and crossed cannon at the bottom.Scattered corrosion staining to the front as shown, the protective glass center is intact, with a repair to the fold-out leg prop, in the form of a nut and bolt, which replaces the original pin; works just fine.Measures 6.25 x 8.50 inches.
