Item #68838 : Original period manufacture. Assembled during the era, consisting of 191 black & white photo images, being a mix of candid photos, and commercially produced images. Good mix of personal photos of military activity of an AEF Engineer unit, war damage, graves, aircraft, tanks, occupation duty on the Rhine etc. Included are several photo images of Quentin Roosevelt's grave and body by his downed aircraft. Lieutenant Quentin Roosevelt, youngest son of President Teddy Roosevelt, killed in action on the 14th of July 1918. Good content overall, some rather graphic in detail.
