Original era manufacture. A very clean set featuring a 1918 dated light OD carrier, unpainted handle and OD paint pick mattock head, marked simply US.I tend to believe the paint on the pick head is not original, as it appears rather fresh. The handle on the other hand has never been painted, showing a band of wear where the pickhead would fit. A clean serviceable unit.
