Original period manufacture. Khaki braided cloth lanyard with darkened alloy metal fittings. 1917 patent date. Shows light age and wear. Stock photo, minor details will vary.About 30 years ago while attending the big Tulsa Gun Show, a man had a table full of these priced at $1.25 each. We purchased a dozen or so, and he told us that he had paid 25 cents each for them, buying them from a man selling them in his pet store as leashes for small dogs....
