Original era manufacture. Standard pattern US M1917 bayonet, in sound condition, even steel patina finish to the metal components, with staining and shallow corrosion pitting at the tip. Clear, original markings on each side of the ricassoTraces of blue finish, mixed with steel patina on the guard and pommel. Original finish walnut grips, displaying normal age and wear, no chips or flaking to the surfaces.
