A well written, single spaced typing on 5.5 x 8.5 inch lined paper, 38 page narrative of one US soldier's experience in the Great War. The text is very detailed in its descriptions of the journey by ship to England, and then to France. The descriptions of his experience while in France and the combat his unit endured is very vivid. The downside being that neither his name or unit is included in the text, however some clues to the unit's identity are revealed; "July 12th 1917, the 1st Company Ft. McKinley is ordered to form with a provisional brigade to do service in Europe. Lt. Wilson read the order in the Mess hall at the noon mess and the news was greeted with cheers".
