Original era manufacture. A very 19th century style housewife, with the edges bound in Infantry blue cotton binding. Tan canvas roll-up style kit, with pockets and spaces inside for an assortment of sewing aids.The present contents include a nice quality pair of scissors, small spool of white thread, a card with black and white thread, sewing needles and safety pins, with a few buttons tossed in for good measure.Normal age and wear, overall clean condition.
