Original era manufacture. Classic WWI T-Handle shovel in very sound condition, paint on the blade with a mix of steel patina, natural finish on the shaft and grip.US proofed on the shank of the blade and wooden handle. Sound, khaki canvas cover with a clear U.S. stencil on the front, and on the reverse, makers markings of H&P 10-18.No dry-rot to the canvas, with a rust stain and wear spoton the top edge.
