Original era manufacture. A very nice example of a WWI era Kodak "Vest Pocket" camera and leather storage case. Advertised as the "Soldier's Camera" during the war, with over 1,750,000 being sold. Patent dates on the reverse 1902-1913. There is a nice article online which provides additional information on these little gems. This one predates 1919 as the body finish changed from a smooth, black satin finish, to a crackle finish that year. Brown leather case with a purple velvet lining and a belt loop on the reverse. The camera appears to be complete and looks to operate as it should. The case is basically sound, the stitching on the top of the belt loop is gone.
