Original era manufacture. An interesting field modified weapon, using a portion of an M1905 US bayonet. The current blade length is 8 inches, with remnants of the blue finish visible. Steel guard with three protrusions on the bow, large pointed pommel cap. The grip is made from aircraft Plexiglas separated by bands of aircraft aluminum.Simple brown leather sheath of riveted and sewn construction, with an intact pommel strap.These are original WWII collector items, made by, or for soldiers fighting in the Pacific and European Theaters during the war; sold as collector items only.The possession of these knives in some states/countries is prohibited.
