Original era manufacture. Standard M1910 meatcan complete with its lid, nicely engraved on the bottom, 309 Inf CO I, Camp Dix, Glouceter City, NY and the soldiers name. Next to the inscription is a well done image of a comic figure. Normal age and wear. During WWI the 309th Infantry served with the US 78th Infantry Division.
