Original era manufacture. This is a very nicely executed piece of WWI Trench Art, using a US 75 mm shell casing as its canvas.The casing stands 13.5 inches in height with a slight flare to the opening. A wonderful stippled background as been applied to the body of the casing, with the smooth portions artfully revealed into the following; Statue of Liberty with 32 and Arrow and Line of the 32nd Division, Navy Bugler, Crossed Cannons of Battery F, 120th FA with an eagle above, and an Army Bugler. At the base are large letters spelling out the word FRANCE. Dark brass patina finish overall.
