Original period manufacture. German shell casing dated MAI 1917, with the body being nicely decorated with the name "Belleau Wood" and crown. Stands 9 inches in height. Belleau Wood, being the location of the famous battle where the 6th Marine Regiment earned the name Teufel Hunden, Devil Dogs, from their German opponents.
