Original era photograph. Large format, sepia toned image of the former SS Kaiser Wilhelm II in her new livery as the troopship USS Agememnon. Seized in April of 1917 after the entry of the US into WWI. The newly named USS Agememnon made numerous cross-atlantic voyages carrying men and material to France. Sold for scrap in 1940. The image measures 12x19 inches with numerous wrinkles and creases from age and handling. Great detail remains visible with a crowd of Doughboys visible on her stern.
