Original period manufacture. US WWI Artillery canteen, cup and cover set.Unit stamped cover 33/D 132. Kemper-Thomas Company 4/1918 stamped on one flap and and inspector stamp on the other. Cork remains in the top as well as the chain. Canteen body stamped LF&C 1918, cup is stamped AGM Co 1918. Normal age and wear. The 33rd Field Artillery was formed in July 1918, being assigned to the 11th Division. Demobilized in December 1918, it was reconstituted in 1929, serving with the 1st Infantry Division (The Big Red One) during WWII.
