Original era manufacture. A nice looking old shell with a red painted steel projectile and a pleasing brass patina to its casing. Well marked on the base and dated 1916, primer removed, empty of explosives. Nosecap unscrews easily, overall, stands 9 inches in height. Manufactured by the US Naval Gun Factory in Washington DC.
