riginal era manufacture. A stamped, bronze colored alloy badge with a serial number on its reverse, 79067. These were presented to ship workers during WWI by The Emergency Fleet Corporation, who created the largest ship building yard in the world. Hog Island Pennsylvania, located near Philadelphia, operated by the American International Shipbuilding Corporation. At it's peak, Hog Island employed over 30,000 workers, launching a ship every 5 1/2 days.
