Original era manufacture. A very sound pair of 1918 dated US Army wire cutters, marked US DCHS.CO. 1918These were found by a friend of ours in a Tucson antique market covered in dirt and grime. He took them home and gave the set a good bath, repainting the metal portions, with the end result being a very presentable set of cutters.
