Original era manufacture. We've had several of these over the years, in some cases purchased them from the veterans themselves. 135x135mm cast brass plaque which features the iconic statement by General McAuliffe to the German surrender demand at Bastogne Belgium in 1944, "NUTS". I believe these were made of recycled shell brass by the Belgian citizens of the area to sell as souvenirs to the GI's.
