Original era manufacture. A cut-down 10 inch blade, with spear point, by OL, 1943. Most of the parkerized finish remains on the blade, guard and pommel. There are areas of cleaned corrosion inside the fullers, so the finish is likely redone. Sound black plastic grips with no cracks or chips, just scattered minor denting from service use. Original scabbard with an old GI repaint, US Ordnance Bomb on the throat.
