Original era publication and photography. Lot consisting of an 11th Airborne unit history, 35 commercially produced black & white photos, his WWII 11th ABN patch and three WWII Japanese postcards.The unit history deals primarily with the training of the division, being published by Albert Love Enterprises in Atlanta in 1943. Mostly photographic in content, with a postit on the page regarding the 675th Para-Glider FA Bn. The photos illustrate indigenous peoples of the South Pacific and destruction in Manila during WWII.Cut edge, cotton embroidered patch with a thin span of khaki cloth attaching the rocker to the body of the patch.Normal handling and wear, some pages are loose in the history. Purchased from the family of Mr. G.A.Boyd, who served with the 11th ABN during WWII.
