Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidery on Infantry blue wool felt, with a white cheese cloth reverse. The patch displays honest age and wear, with light scattered mothing to the body of the patch, and wear to the cheesecloth reverse.The Bushmasters served in the Canal Zone early in WWII, gaining their nickname from the venomous snake that inhabited the area. They saw combat in Dutch New Guinea, Noemfoor Island, and the Philippines.
