Original era manufacture. A very fine example of a pack system, which can be found in OD material and printed camouflage material. Very clear U.S. stencil and makers markings of  Hinson Mfg Co. 1943. on the exterior of the top flap, and interior.  Most of the straps, buckles and other fittings are intact, the colors are bright without staining to the fabric. The zippers work as they should, the only detraction is the missing drawstring at the top opening. Strong colors, with a few spots of minor staining. Scarce and desirable knapsack.
