Original era manufacture. WWII, 1st  pattern design, cut edge patch which does not glow under UV light. European Theater WWII. A Belgian troop transport (Leopoldville) carrying the 66th Division to France in December of 1944 was torpedoed and sunk by the German submarine U-486, which resulted in the loss of nearly 800 officers and men of the division.The 66th spent the remainder of the war containing the Germans in the French ports of Lorient and St.Nazaire. Normal age and wear.
