Original era manufacture. Thick gold wire embroidery on a quilted red silk background material. White cotton covered reverse. The 25th, Tropic Lightening Division, was stationed in Hawaii on December 7th 1941, with their headquarters at Schofield Barracks.They saw action in the Pacific Theater at Guadalcanal, New Georgia, Vella Lavella, and the Philippines. They are credited with 165 days of combat  on Luzon, suffering the loss of 5,500 casualties. The performed occupation duty in Japan in September 1945.
