Original era manufacture. This grouping was purchased as you see it, however the buyer forgot to ask the soldiers name. The lot includes his slot brooch, unnamed Purple Heart, Good Conduct Medal, 67th Armored Regiment DI's, 2nd Armored Division SSI with Hell On Wheels tab and assorted ribbons. All of the components are nice and clean, there is a bit of water damage on the bottom of the case resulting in the blue cover lifting away. The 2nd Armored Division was one of two US Army "heavy" tank division deployed during WWII, having two armored regiments of four medium tank and two light tank battalions of three companies each. The 2nd Armored served in North Africa, Sicily, Normandy, Rhine Campaign during WWII (courtesy wikipedia).
