Original era manufacture. US WWII 2nd Lieutenant Nurse, Louise McGee, Greenwood Army Air Field, Mississippi. Grouping consisting of the following:Uniform, Dark OD: Hobby Hat, Jacket, Skirt, Shirt with Nurse and US Officer metal insigniaJacket is a size 10 dated 1943, some moth nips as shown, 32 inch bust & 25 inches longSkirt is a size 10, nice condition, 25 inch waist and 26 inches longShirt - one button missing, some stainingLeggings, size 2RHat has officer insignia and some mothing on the underside of the bill. Size 21Army Lightweight Service Gasmask and transport bag. Mask is sound, the bag shows wear and use. Unused Protective Ointment Kit in original tin, contents are petrified and cannot be displayed.Duffle bag, WWII with her name and information stenciled on the side. Some wear issues on one side.Sleeping Bag Wool insert, WWII dated and US stenciled1942 Greenwood AAF Divisional History with her picture and those classmates, as well as famous leaders of the USAAF.This parcel will weigh 18 pounds. Separate large candid photos showing pilots, Dress Dinner, Wedding table and the hospital.Also included in this grouping is her helmet liner with her name written inside. At some later date someone added Captain bars and red tape to put over the white circle. There is also a Patriotic Pillow Cover from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas.
