Original era manufacture. Reflective edge, rear seam helmet with swivel type chinstrap bales. Replaced light OD canvas chinstraps, wide style netting with khaki color scrim. Westinghouse marked high pressure liner with light OD webbing. Dark OD sweatband, good quality replacement leather liner chinstrap. Stenciled onto the reverse of the helmet, is an orange stenciled diamond and number 2, indicating the 2nd Ranger Battalion of D-Day fame, June 6th 1944. A very nicely refurbished helmet, excellent for Living History participants or display.
