Original era manufacture. A fob like medal with an enameled obverse, named on the reverse to S/Sgt. C.G. Klinesmith, for Meritorious service, above and beyond the call of duty, as a member of the 388th Bomb Group (Heavy), A.A.F..In its box of issue (box lid missing), the medal measures 34 x 46 mm.
