Original era publication. A nice lot of unit level award documents presented to S/Sgt. James M. Housteau, 392nd Bombardment Group (B-24 Liberators) during WWII.The first document honors the completion of a tour of combat duty over Germany, and notes the Sergeant being awarded with a Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal (3 Oak Leaf Clusters) and the Distinguished Unit Badge.The second document attests the fact that Sergeant Housteau participated in the 100th combat mission of the 392nd on the 6th of June 1944.Both documents have been shrink wrapped for protection. Each measures around 9 x 12 inches, tears in the margins as shown.
