Original era manufacture. This is certainly one of, if not the most unique WWII GI souvenirs we have ever offered. Brought home by a GI who served in Company C, 7th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Division during WWII. All of the WWII German items have been mounted into a WWII era German photo album and consist of the following; 3 silver Panzer Assault Badges, 2 Infantry Assault Badges (the five badges retain their mounting pins and hooks), capture certificate, four army cap eagles, bronze Mothers Cross, Westwall Medal, two M43 hat insignias, two sleeve Edelweiss, cap cockade, corporal stripe, two Army sleeve specialty rates, two Hauptgefreiter chevrons, two M1944 pattern Panzer tunic eagles, two Russian Volunteer sleeve shields and a Surrender leaflet. The Ike Jacket shown in the first photo is not included in the price, but was the one worn by the GI who brought the items home with him in 1945, and was purchased by us with the album. The badges are complete with their attaching pins and hooks, however the hooks have been bent flush with the backs of the respective badge. All of the other items are either glued or stapled onto the pages. We feel this is a pretty special WWII souvenir, certainly one of a kind, and we placed the value on the album, based on a conservative estimate of the individual items themselves. We hope that the next owner respects the unique character of this artifact, and chooses to keep it all together and to not break it up.
