Original era manufacture. Silver wire embroidery on blue wool felt, white silk covered reverse. Measures 2.5 x 2.5 inches. The 3rd ID made more amphibious landings during WWII than most USMC Divisions, North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Southern France. Posted here in the memory of our friend Ralph Lang who made all of the landings.  Light use and wear.
