Original period manufacture. Cotton embroidered, cut-edge patch which does not fluoresce under a UV light, with a gold wire embroidered sun. The patch has been removed from a uniform, with a small cut in one edge. Pacific Theater WWII, the 40th Division saw major combat in the Philippines in three campaigns, suffering the loss of 3,025 casualties.
