Original era publication. A 35 page printed history of the "Battle Axe" Division's history during WWII. Printed in Linz Austria in 1945 and comes with a fold-out map in the rear cover and a copy of the divisional newspaper "The Halbert" dated May 17 1945. The 65th entered combat in early March 1945, suffering the loss of over 1200 men in killed and wounded, during 55 days of combat. Normal handling and wear.
