Original era manufacture. Cotton twill embroidery, with a white cheese cloth reverse. Formed in September 1944 mostly from veteran units having seen prior combat in the Pacific. The 6th MarDiv served on Okinawa, earning a Presidential Unit Citation for their valor. Normal age and wear.
