Original era manufacture. A nice little grouping of Waldo K. McGill, who served as a pilot flying a B-29 bomber, in the 770th BS, 462nd BG, 20th AF during WWII.The lot includes his named New Testament, 20th AF SSI, cased Air Medal, sterling marked pinback pilot's wings and a theater made DI, silver, The Hellbirds, With Malice Towards Some. Enamel damage to the edge of the DI.Included is a copy of a page from the Hellbirds history, showing officers of the 770th, with McGill's name being mentioned.
